Lady of the Flies
I know this is supposed to be a poetry blog, but I'm having far too much fun not writing poetry. There's no self-loathing and insecurity in the writing of childish cartoons.

I think maybe I'm in my fourth childhood.

Here's a silly Microsoft Paint cartoon - just for you:

Here it is on a silly T-shirt, if you're into silly stuff on silly t-shirts: Absolute Cotton Gifts, Tees, and Other Methods of Avoiding Poetry

you don't have to write poetry, carl. and poetry blogs can be dead boring and dry, so color all you want. why is the pig evil?

Actually, the spider is evil. Pigs are intrinsically good.

Charlotte's Web always creeped me out when I was a kid. I never trusted her.

I love it! I HATED Charlotte's web.

I also demand more posts.

And more cartoons.

But I'm Evil that way. ;)

I'll be back.

Just exactly how long IS this vacation? How do I get your job, with this vacation arrangement? We ALL need jobs with this kind of vacation policy, right?

Sorry, Beau - I've been swamped with the t-shirt designing biz. What was once a game for me has turned into a business - with profits and losses.

I've been elected to represent the group of cafepress graphic designers, so I've been working hard on that end to prepare. I fly out to Cali in a couple of days for meetings.

I feel like a Star Trek fan who finally has the opportunity to have sex, but is rendered impotent by performance anxiety.

Where in Cali are these meetings? Close to the Santa Cruz Mountains, perhaps? -b

It's Memorial Day, Carl.

I kinda remember you.

I knew Charlotte was up to something.

Anyway, you can’t force poetry and the slandering of beloved children’s literature spiders is a noble pursuit as well.

Carl, I just discovered your site and love your style of spontanous rantings of things nonsensical and absurd. Your T-shirts are way cool too.

Hey there old friend. Stop by sometime, as I will attempt to post something worth while every now and then.

I've got a ton of reading to do here just to catch up. Not to mention delete half the dead blogs on my roll.
